I recently shared some dessert ideas to enjoy together over a bonfire for Lag B’Omer this week, but what if you live in the city, with no good fire pit options? Or if rain is in the forecast? No fear! Bring the flames and sweets inside by baking a campfire themed cake.

This beautiful cake from Country Living uses melted hard candies to form the flames.

Make smaller cupcakes so everyone has their own mini campfire. These from Tastemade even include marshmallows to roast on toothpicks!

Gourmet Photography added sparklers to the hard candy flames, making the centerpiece dessert come to life. Although the photo shows the cake inside, if you want to go this route you should stick to dessert out on a rooftop or balcony.
