Nothing like a day off of work to detox from the current political climate. My recommendation – celebrate Washington’s birthday by enjoying some Washington Apple shots and marathons of The American President, Dave, Air Force One, and the West Wing.
Washington Apple Shots
Ingredients
1.25 oz. Whisky (Crown Royal Deluxe is the most commonly used for this, but Canadian Whisky seems inappropriate for the holiday)
.25 oz. Apple Schnapps
1.5 oz. Cranberry Juice
Instructions
Glass: Shot Glass
- Combine all the ingredients in a shaker of ice
- Shake well
- Strain into a shot glass

Synopsis: The President of the United States gets pissed off when some Russians hijack his plane so he kills them all.
1). The President says or does something bad-ass.
2). A parachute is deployed.
3). The plane is rocked by turbulence/an explosion/shitty flying.
4). Someone says “Air Force One”
Wildcard: A Russian is killed.
